Animals and Toys
I love animals!
Since I was a young child I would feed stray cats and dogs the lunch which my mom prepared for me to take to school – even if it meant going hungry so the animals did not (just ask my mom)!
As such, it’s no wonder that I’m so drawn to animal portraiture. Whether our domesticated sweethearts or our wildlife friends, I strive to capture their beauty and personalities in my paintings.
Nursery toys is a collection of soft pastel paintings rendered from life. These adorable stuffed animals are residents of my children's rooms. Along with the real animals they are one of my favorite subjects to paint.
