Here are prices for a Pet/Wildlife Portrait Commission.

 

Below prices are for one animal portrait. Each additional animal or pet in the same painting is an additional 50% of the cost. Third animal is an additional 30%. Please note that the size will be influenced by the number of animals in the portrait. 9x12 format is only offered for the 1 animal portrait. Multiple animal portraits start in 11x14 format. Oil pastel or charcoal sketches for multiple animals are only offered in 11x14, and 12x16.

I offer commissioned animal portraits in four different medium options: acrylic on canvas, soft pastel on paper, as well as oil pastels and charcoal sketch on paper. All options are painted using the best quality materials.
Acrylic portraits are offered in larger sizes, soft pastels are more detail oriented. Oil pastel sketches are more expressive, and vibrant in nature, while charcoal sketches are monochrome, simple and elegant. Charcoal and oil pastel sketches require less time, which is reflected in the price.

I work from photos. I will need a good quality reference photo to complete the portrait. Please provide me with 2-3 images to choose from. ​​

Acrylic paintings on canvas can be displayed as such or framed for an additional cost. Pastel and charcoal paintings are mounted on an archival foam board but sold not framed. These types of paintings need to be framed behind the glass before you can display them. You can purchase your pastel painting framed by me for an additional cost (see the information), take it to the professional framer, or frame your painting yourself if you are confident and knowledgeable on how to do it.
